Mr. Lochrane has served as Project Principal/Project Manager/Project Engineer, responsible for numerous paving, drainage, and other municipal projects in Florida since 1973. Mr. Lochrane is current with Local, City, County, and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and AASHTO design standards.

Prior to starting Lochrane Engineering, Inc., he served as Transportation Engineer with the New York Department of Transportation (NYDOT) and served in the Army Corps of Engineers where he held the rank of Captain and commanded a construction engineering company, 249th Engineering Battalion, Company D, in Germany. He was responsible for the construction of numerous construction projects throughout Germany.

After relocating to Florida from New York in 1973, Mr. Lochrane served with several major international firms in the areas of municipal engineering and roadway engineering. He worked on projects involving the design and construction of water and wastewater plant facility expansion for local communities, consulted as city engineer to local cities, and oversaw the design and construction of drainage and paving projects. In 1979, he started Lochrane Engineering as a private consulting engineering firm that specializes in innovative products and services to the civil engineering profession. In 1984, he initiated providing consulting engineering services for major transportation facilities and acted as the Principal in Charge on these projects. Mr. Lochrane has been active over the years in the Florida Engineering Society (FES) and Florida Institute of consulting engineers (FICE) and has served in leadership positions on the FDOT/FICE Transportation subcommittee.
