SR 10 milling and resurfacing began in February of 2003 and will provide a mile long stretch of four-lane capacity roadway that is ADA compliant with business and resident access.  Lochrane facilitated various services including design, utility coordination, survey and post design services. During the early stages of design, concrete pavement was determined to be beneath the asphalt. The project evolved into full reconstruction to remove the concrete pavement. Full storm water treatment and facilities became necessary and permitting through the St. Johns River Water Management District. Lochrane was able to meet the needs of the client by maintaining close communication with the City of Jacksonville, FDOT Planning Office, and other parties. This project is expected to be completed in January of 2007.
