The Curry Ford Road improvement project is currently under construction, and will ultimately provide additional roadway capacity for motorists in east Orange County. This will be accomplished with 2.5 miles of widening from a 2-lane rural roadway to a 4-lane divided urban roadway.  Lochrane provided a number of services including comprehensive survey services, preliminary engineering and preparation of complete construction documents. Lochrane was able to serve the client by obtaining all environmental permits necessary to begin construction. Wetland impacts were mitigated using enhancement of existing wetlands in Hal Scott Preserve. This project is unique because it involved the widening of the bridge over the Azalea Park Outfall Canal.
