Wal-Mart at Poinciana Place is a facility for supplying grocery and soft goods to citizens of Kissimmee and neighboring communities.  Lochrane provided land development services including full survey service, civil/site design, public meeting presentations, permitting, and paving and drainage designs.  Not only were we able to meet our client's expectations by efficiently obtaining approvals from the local municipality, this rapid entitlement process allowed positioned Wal-Mart to be able to open the store earlier than anticipated -- in time for Hurricane Charlie relief for nearby residents.  This store has been in successful operation since that that early Grand Opening.

The Covenant on the Lakes Senior Apartments project began in 2004 and was completed in 2006.  It was a joint effort between a local developer and a local church, ultimately providing much needed senior housing.  Lochrane was able to provide survey and land development services that maintained budget and avoided potential access and drainage issues that could have adversely affected the project.  Additionally, Lochrane was able to fulfill the client's expectations by gaining the full acceptance of community neighbors and endorsement by the church board -- all while adhering to the project schedule.

Super Target at Millenia Mall is one of Lochrane Engineering's recent landmark projects in the Millenia area. This Super Target was developed in accordance with mall architectural standards which resulted in featuring stunning Mediterranean architectural style incorporating trusses and unique landscaping.  Lochrane provided survey and civil services, permitting, and construction administration.  Fast tracking design and construction resulted in meeting the 2003 grand opening schedule.

Grand Cayman Island’s Turtle Farm Theme Park “Boatswain’s Beach” Lochrane was the Civil Engineer of Record (EOR) on this new theme park, which was a major expansion of the existing Cayman Turtle Farm. Called Boatswain’s Beach, this modern facility is part of the restructuring plan developed after the devastating effects that Hurricane Michelle had on the Cayman Turtle Farm in November 2001. The 20-acre marine park offers a celebration of culture unique to the Cayman Islands, allowing guests to explore the wonders of the underwater world. This exciting adventure theme park features a more than one million gallon saltwater snorkel lagoon stocked with exotic fish, predator tank, aviary, Cayman Heritage street with craft vendors, nature trail, educational pavilion, research centre, restaurants and a 300,000 gallon fresh water zero entry pool with waterfalls and caves. Boatswain’s Beach adds significantly to the tourism industry on Grand Cayman. The park fully opened in January 2006.
