Lochrane Engineering, Inc. announces three employee promotions. In the Orlando Survey Division, John Campbell, PSM, has been promoted to Assistant Division Manager and Chris Leftakis, PSM, has been promoted to Project Manager for Transportation Projects. In the Gainesville Survey Division, Bill Dees, PSM, has been promoted to Gainesville Survey Manager.

John Campbell, PSM, Assistant Division Manager of Orlando Survey Division

A long-term employee who has been part of the Lochrane team for more than 21 years, John demonstrates strong leadership and dedication to the firm and the clients we serve. He is recognized by both FDOT and municipal government clients as being skilled in Right of Way Surveying and Mapping. Using these talents, along with commitment and dedication, he provides engineering consultants with the highest quality survey services available.

Chris Leftakis

Chris Leftakis, PSM, Project Manager for Transportation Projects in Orlando Survey Division

Part of the Lochrane team for 5 years, Chris has grown under the direct mentoring of John Campbell, PSM, working on numerous transportation projects for clients such as the FDOT. A graduate of the highly regarded University of Florida Geomatics Program, Chris has a background in traditional surveying techniques as well as technologically advanced areas, such as GPS and Photogrammetry. Starting at Lochrane as a Surveyor in Training, Chris now holds his Professional Surveyor and Mapper certification, which he earned in 2006.

Under the leadership of Michael Cavalere, PSM, Principal in Charge of Survey Services, and Tom Yocom, PSM, Division Manager of Survey Services, John and Chris will continue to offer Lochrane clients their valuable experience and strength on Transportation projects in their new positions.

Bill Dees

Bill Dees, PSM, Gainesville Survey Manager in the Gainesville Survey Division

In this position, Bill will work closely with Dianne Jones, Assistant Division Manager – Gainesville, and focus on managing all survey projects completed out of the Gainesville office. Bill’s strong survey background includes graduating from the highly regarded University of Florida Geomatics Program, and working on numerous Municipal and Private Development projects over his 23 year survey career. In addition, Bill has authored the Cadastral Electronic Field Book User’s Guide and co-authored the Electronic Field Book Data Processing Handbook and the Electronic Field Book User’s Guide. He is also a recognized Continuing Education Provider by the Florida Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers.
